Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast at your hotel in Fes, depart for Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. The first stop will be Ifrane, a charming alpine-style town often referred to as “Little Switzerland” for its beautiful architecture and green landscapes. Take a brief break here to enjoy the scenic surroundings before continuing your journey. Next, head to Midelt, located in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue your drive through the stunning Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and impressive canyons. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll check into your accommodation. After a quick refresh, enjoy a sunset camel ride through the iconic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. In the evening, savor a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by a night of stargazing by the campfire.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes

After a hearty breakfast, spend the day exploring the Erg Chebbi dunes. Start with an early morning camel trek to witness the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes. Day 4: Todra Gorge – Fes

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Fes. The drive will take approximately 7 hours, but along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to stop and take in the beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas region. Upon arrival in Fes in the late afternoon, your guide will transfer you back to your accommodation or to the airport, concluding your memorable desert adventure.
