Day 1: Fes – Chefchaouen

After breakfast at your hotel in Fes, depart for Chefchaouen, a picturesque mountain town famous for its blue-painted buildings and stunning natural surroundings. The drive will take approximately 4 hours, offering breathtaking views of the Rif Mountains along the way. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, check in to your accommodation and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, embark on a guided walking tour through the charming streets of the medina. Explore local artisan shops, visit the Kasbah Museum, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this unique town. Day 2: Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis

After breakfast, depart for Meknes, another of Morocco’s imperial cities, known for its rich history and beautiful architecture. The drive will take about 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate and the Place el-Hedim, where you can enjoy the lively atmosphere and local vendors. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, continue your journey to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the well-preserved mosaics, temples, and ruins that tell the story of this once-thriving city. After your visit, return to Meknes for an overnight stay, where you can enjoy dinner at a local eatery and relax in the vibrant ambiance of the city.

Day 3: Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, take some time to explore Meknes further. Visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, one of the most notable figures in Moroccan history, and stroll through the lush Bou Inania Medersa. Afterward, begin your journey back to Fes, which will take about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will have some free time to explore the bustling medina, perhaps visiting the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest existing, continually operating higher educational institution in the world. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant before concluding your tour. Your guide will transfer you back to your accommodation or to the airport, marking the end of your adventure.
